Bomb Farm Early-Game Tier List
What to protect from fusion while Dawn Quarry and Deep Roots are still the Map.
Early-game in Bomb Farm is Dawn Quarry plus Deep Roots on Easy and Normal. If Glacier is still locked, you are here. This list ranks roles and keepers for that slice. Inferno opinions go on the squads list.
Read Getting Started if House is still empty. A tier list cannot replace a first capsule.
S — protect these from the hammer
Collectors. Overnight Easy is the engine. A Collector with any loot or gold text is S until Deep Roots is done. Duplicate Collectors are fusion food only after a wearer and a spare exist.
A living Support. You need one body that keeps the dock from evaporating when you forget the overlay for an hour. Early Hard is how people discover this. Even on Easy, a Support is S because you only own a few heroes.
Any Specialist whose tooltip is unique. You cannot buy a replacement from a loot box. Official copy says they do not sell those. Keep the weird one.
A — default starters
Attackers with a clean damage tooltip. You need two, not five. Quarry rocks die to A-tier bombers. Save +10 Ritual for the two you keep, not for a crowd.
Uncommon wearers with on-role affixes. Uncommon is not an insult this week. House even tracks Uncommon as a 20-step bar. Wear them.
A second Collector if you already have one. Farm squads want two. Climb squads want one. That math is in roles.
B — usable, do not obsess
Extra Attackers beyond two. They are C-squad fuel and fusion fooders, not a personality.
Off-role rares. A Rare Attacker with vacuum text is a confused Collector. Gear can lean; fusion can wait. Identify in Ritual before you celebrate.
Supports number two and three. Nice for rotation, not required until energy math on energy says squad B also wipes.
C — dock fillers
True duplicates after a keeper and a fooder exist. Fusion or Market, not a fourth portrait on the farm dock.
Bodies you cannot explain. If you cannot say the role and the affix, they are inventory, not identity.
Anything you were about to buy because a streamer shouted a name. There is no named S-tier here yet. The hub explains why.
Early-game spend order
- House slots if you cannot make two docks.
- Recovery if docks exist but return too slow.
- Ritual +ranks on the S Collector and the two A Attackers.
- Ability ranks 1–10 only on those same bodies.
- Skill tree locks, not percentages.
If that order feels boring, good. Early Map is supposed to be a conveyor, not a gacha recap. Launch reviews that compared Bomb Farm to older bomber games were talking about the overlay loop, not about skipping Roots with a lucky Rare. Testers already watched luck fail to skip the Map.
Stars you should not touch yet
Leave Very Hard and Inferno closed. Easy clears Dawn Quarry. Normal is the Deep Roots classroom. Hard is a gear check you take after +ranks exist. The progression walkthrough is the parent of this paragraph.
If a friend is already flashing Inferno Cleared, they either sat the beta or they are lying to their dock. Your list does not change.
When you graduate from this page
Deep Glacier open, three docks named, Ritual pieces on S bodies at +10 like the store screenshot, and you still have a Collector. Then go to squads and stop calling every duplicate S.
