Bomb Farm Heroes
Roles, fusion, energy, and the House capsules that keep three squads alive.
Heroes are the bodies you send into Battle. Stream On’s store page asks you to collect them in four roles — Attacker, Support, Collector, and Specialist — each with unique attributes and a pool of 20 abilities that rank from 1 to 10. You can switch three teams so the mine keeps running. That is the whole roster fantasy.
This hub points at the questions people actually ask after the first Easy clear:
- Which role goes on which tile? Hero Roles.
- When do I fuse, and when do I keep a duplicate? Fusion and Rarity.
- Why did the dock go empty at 2 a.m.? Energy and Team Rotation.
- Where do extra bodies sleep? House Capsules.
The Tier List Hub ranks those answers for early Map versus Inferno. This hub explains the systems so the ranks make sense.
What a hero is, in the client
A hero is a pixel miner or bomber you park in a House capsule and later put on the Battle dock. Launch art shows a pink-haired bomber, a central dynamite miner, and a bearded pickaxe fighter; the live dock adds blue crystal bodies and purple casters. We do not publish a fake name list. Hover the portrait in Heroes. Believe that tooltip.
House, at launch, is a 3×3 of capsules. Some pods are locked. The right-hand column tracks rarity collections: Mythic, Legendary, Epic, Rare, Uncommon, each toward a 20-step bar. Recovery speed and maximum hero slots sit as upgrades on the same screen. Those two upgrades are how three teams become possible in practice, not only in the store blurb.
Roles in one paragraph each
Attackers break rocks, enemies, and the next Map node. If Deep Roots stalls, you are short Attackers or they are under-forged. Supports keep the line from evaporating when a grid gets mean. Collectors are why idle games print gold and sealed drops; a squad of only Attackers looks fast and banks nothing. Specialists cover awkward jobs the other three do not — whatever the tooltip says, double down on it instead of forcing them into Attacker gear. Full routing: roles.
Rarity is not a personality
Uncommon through Mythic is a collection track and a fusion ladder, not a moral ranking. A well-rolled Rare Collector can beat a starved Legendary Attacker on a farm node. Launch testers already mocked the idea that a lucky Rare on day one puts you on a top-hero board. Progression is Map bars plus Ritual, not a single pull.
Fusion details, including why eating your last Specialist is a mistake, live on fusion.
Three teams, one account
Steam copy: switch between three teams to keep the mine running nonstop. House copy: recovery speed. Put together, the roster is a conveyor, not a favorite child. Squad A farms. Squad B covers the gap. Squad C is the ugly spare that still wears +4. The squad planner is a print-it-out version of that idea. The squads tier list is the opinionated version.
Do not build three skill trees. The Abilities tree is account-wide. Build three docks and one farm.
Ability ranks 1 to 10
Twenty abilities, each upgradeable from 1 to 10, is a lot of buttons. Rank the abilities the role already wants. An Attacker with ten points in a vacuum-loot skill is a Collector in denial. Spend gold on ranks after House can actually recover the body you invested in. Day-one ranks are optional; day-one capsules are not.
Where to go next
New account: Getting Started, then this hub’s energy page. Mid Map: roles plus the early-game tier list. Ready to delete duplicates: fusion and Market. Ready to argue on Discord: still read the tooltip first.
This wiki will add named hero pages when the client and the studio publish a stable roster. Until then, roles and House are the pages that will not rot after one character vote.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How many hero roles does Bomb Farm have?
Four in the store copy: Attacker, Support, Collector, Specialist. See hero roles.
How many teams can I run?
Three, so the mine keeps running while House recovers the others. Checklist: energy.
Does higher rarity always win?
No. Affixes, ranks, and Ritual upgrades matter. Fusion explains when to combine bodies.
Where do I store extra heroes?
House capsules. Upgrade max slots and recovery before you chase Mythic bars. See House Capsules.
